Best of State 2015

The selections for the 2015 Best of State Awards are out and we have three award winners here on Historic 25th Street!

Two Bit Street Cafe takes the ribbon for “Casual Dining, Best Brunch.” We can’t say for sure what swayed the judging panel, but we can say without a doubt that the “Two Bit Toast” is our favorite French Toast of all time. We’re also big fans of the Eggs Benedict and Huevos Rancheros. If you don’t make it in for brunch, you’ll definitely want to grab one of their garlic burgers which are deserving of an award all their own. Read more…

In the Fine Dining division, Tona Sushi Bar and Grill wins two Best of State Awards: “Best Japanese” and “Best Sushi.” Again it’s hard to say what one particular thing it is that leads to an award like these but Tona continues to be an O-town favorite, perhaps because of their Green Globe or their ever-changing selection of fresh, specialty-fish Sashimi Crudos.

And last but not least, we are pleased to announce that the Historic 25th Street Association has won Best of State for “Community Development in the Private Sector: Associations and Chambers” for the sixth year in a row. The work we do to support this street is done first and foremost out of love for this quirky little strip but that doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy getting recognition every once in a while!

Please join us in celebrating all of our 2015 Best of State Winners!
