February Art Stroll

It might be cold out there but this art stroll is chock full of reasons to bundle up and hit the street!

Before we dive into the fun of this month’s stroll, we’d like to remember a very memorable moment from this time last year: the return and lighting of the “Neon Dragon” kicked off the art stroll festivities for us at last year’s February Art Stroll. Remember that??

As for this Friday, February 5th, there are a ton of fun things to see and do.

On the musical end of things we have two excellent choices: First Friday Song Share at the Lighthouse Lounge and the very first ever Van Sessions featuring short acoustic sets with local musicians.

The galleries are decked out with new art and feature artists. Pandemonium is currently displaying art from more than two dozen artists, including Vanessa Colunga, Jessica Hollon, Lauren Crest, Lou Artega, and returning artist Brandy Sorensen!

Our friends at 25th Street Treasures, a great antique shop just down from Grounds for Coffee at 105 25th Street, will be serving up treats and warm drinks plus if you mention this post, you’ll get 10% any purchases made in store during the stroll.

Peery’s Egyptian is giving you the chance to take home a piece of history in addition to touring behind the scenes.Peerys Egyptian Art Stroll

But there is really so much more! Indie Ogden has put together a great run down of all the events and activities throughout town, take a look at their guide which includes the schedule for the new “Art Bus” shuttling people from Union Station to the Shaw Gallery on campus at Weber State University.

Let’s stroll together!
