Mayor’s Walk

As part of Ogden City’s healthy lifestyle initiatives, the GOAL Foundation has partnered with the City and Mayor Mike Caldwell to bring you the Annual Mayor’s Walk. This one mile walk starts at the high adventure park located on Grant Avenue and ends at the Ogden Marathon finish line at Historic 25th Street and Grant Avenue. The GOAL Foundation encourages everyone to “Get Out And Live!” in our town and we’re excited to offer have another option for people to engage with the marathon experience.

Participation is $10 and registered walkers will receive a walker’s shirt and a special commemorative coin from the mayor himself!

When: Friday night, May 20th at 6:00 pm
Parking: Park at the Ogden City Municipal Parking Lot, 26th and Grant. Getting to the Start Line: The Jupiter Shuttle is available to take you from the parking lot to the start line – Ride the Train!
Start Line Location: Start line is on 18th and Grant at the High Adventure Park
Finish Line: Walkers will finish at the same finish line as the Ogden Marathon on 25th and Grant!

Be sure to arrive early so you can catch the train from the Municipal Park! Mayor Mike Caldwell is excited to see you, your family and your friends for the Mayor’s Walk!

    I’ve never participated in any marathon and would love to be a part of this walk in this great city!

    I would love to take my kids to do this-I think it would be a great example for them and get them more interested in exercise and being outdoors!
