Historic 25th will be having a Window Decoration Contest on the street.
Lighting of the Christmas tree at Union Station, several craft vendors and a model train exhibit by Bob Cannon in the Lobby as well as being open late until 8pm.
Santa will be at Grounds for Coffee will also have new Holiday Specialty Drinks (caffeinated and non-caffeinated).
The Imaging Depot will be doing custom holiday photos in their store.

Xterra Sports Festival Brings Thousands To Utah

The XTERRA USA Championship is the culmination of a series of more than 50 qualifying events across the US that award points to the top athletes in XTERRA's eight regions. The USA Championship is held in conjunction with the Harvest Moon Festival.

Part of the Harvest Moon festivities, cheer on the racers as they circle Historic 25th Street, Washington and Grant.
Wulan Muqi performed "Songs of the Grasslands" at the Ogden Amphitheater.
Sponsored by the Chinese government, the troupe represents the best the country has to offer in cultural and musical tradition. They came to Utah to attend three city festivals and share their unique show, "Songs of the Grasslands," which tells stories about inner Mongolia and the nomadic life of the people there.

Ogden Hosts the Archery World Cup Championships
OGDEN, Utah – It has been reported in various Ogden publications that Al Capone would not visit this city as it was too tough. That is not the case for the U.S. archers as they concluded the 2010 Archery World Cup Stage 3 with seven medals – four gold; one silver; two bronze medals. A boisterous crowd of 2,500 assisted in the United States medal haul on Saturday night under the stadium lights of Lindquist Field that faced into the Weber Mountain range.
America First Harvest Moon Festival

Each fall, for the past 9 years, Historic 25th Street in Ogden shuts down the street to throw a community event. Usually the last weekend in September, this year's event will be on September 25th and 10,000 plus community members, athletes, and good-time seekers will spend their day on Historic 25th Street.
Worldwide on 25 on August 02
* On Tuesday, August 2nd, Historic 25th Street invites you to join us downtown for "Worldwide on 25" from 5:30 - 9 pm. The second annual event will feature near 30 local and independent restaurants from Weber County offering "taste portions" of their favorite featured items. In addition 240 International folk performers from seven countries and 350 World Cup Archery athletes from approximately 27 countries will blend with community residents to enjoy the second annual "Worldwide on 25."
The event will kick off at 5:30 pm with a parade from the Ogden Amphitheater strolling down Historic 25th Street toward Union Station and ending on the quaint 100 block of Historic 25th Street. The dancers and singers will perform traditional dancing and singing from their country while dressed in colorful and beautiful costumes as well as teach their cultural dances to event guests. World Cup Archery athletes will also demonstrate their sport. The action will be swirling as chefs from local restaurants provide sampling portions of their favorite items for the public to purchase. 'Worldwide on 25' is free to the public. Patrons can purchase food tickets at $1.00 per ticket or 12 for $10.00. Patrons will redeem their purchased tickets at restaurants of their choice. Restaurant sampling portions will be priced at two to five tickets. All types of beverages will also be available for purchase.

Polar Bear Swim and Human Dog Sled Racing, Winterfest 2010
In Ogden, the annual Winterfest held many events. One of the most chilling events would have been the Polar Bear Swim. Many contestants volunteered to jump into freezing water at the Lar and Far Pool. Each contestant had to get every hair on there head wet to win the prize of an offical Winterfest mug filled with hot chocolate. Suprisingly many people entered the event, from small children to mature adults. Hope to see you next year future Polar Bears!
Ogden’s First Winterfest “Where Cold is Cool”
It’s Ogden’s first Winterfest! We are hauling in and making snow to transform downtown into the ultimate winter celebration location. Toboggan parades, block parties, snowmobile street drag races, fireworks, concerts and skiing, snowboard and snowshoe sports demos are all part of the new tradition. This two-day celebration will play host to events like skijoring (skiing behind horses), snow sculpturing, a 5K race, as well as humorous competitions including human snow bowling, human dog sled races, and doggy look alike contests. Come participate or watch. The best part is—it’s free!
