September Art Stroll

September 2, 2016 In: art, community Comments (None)

It’s time for First Friday Art Stroll and this month we’d like you to expand your walking route a bit!

There’s more than a handful of great stops here on Historic 25th Street, our top picks outline below, but there’s also Music on the Plaza over in the Junction tonight AND there’s a free shuttle from Union Station up to Weber State where there’s even more art to explore.

So let’s get our art on tonight!

Some of our top picks:

Ogden 52 Youth Show by Nurture the Creative Mind at Union Station (south end of building) 6-8pm

Young photographers from around Northern Utah took to the streets of Ogden with cameras in hand for the first youth round of the Ogden 52 community photo project. Read more.

Pandemonium Art Gallery

Pandemonium is featuring new work by Vanessa Colunga and has some pretty big news to share. It’s not quite a secret, and not quite public. You’ll have to stop in and ask to be in the know!

Photo Shoppe Gallery

Did you know that you can schedule burlesque photos with a local photographer while you’re out on the stroll? Stop in and take a look at Jessica’s portfolio, pick a theme, and schedule a time. Maybe even pick up a piece of local art from various artists while you’re there.

Booked on 25th

There’s a new micropublisher here in town: Get My Story Published. They’ve partnered up with Booked on 25th for a book signing with their most recent book launch. Meet the author, sample the book, shake hands with the publisher. Only in Ogden right?

Gallery 25

We can hardly keep count of all the great artists cycling through Gallery 25 every month! The art is from a diverse variety of artists and covers all mediums, the shop is definitely a must-see for any serious art stroller.

Bella Muse Gallery

Shauna and Elizabeth are at it again!

Sharing is caring! Help us get the word out:
